The current "Tone of Voice" section is a great start, but it falls short in creating truly distinct, non-generic content. The AI-generated text often sounds somewhat formulaic and includes common clichés (e.g., "buzzing," "game-changer") that few people actually use in professional writing. These patterns make AI-generated content feel predictable and easily recognizable.
To address this, I suggest expanding the customization options for tone and writing style. For one of my clients, I developed a detailed, 1.5-page writing style prompt to ensure consistency in my content - helpful for both human and AI writers. While that level of detail is overkill for most users (and even for me at times), there needs to be a way to significantly refine and personalize the AI’s output beyond the current setup.
A strong reference point is Surfer’s Humanizer, which allows users to paste a few paragraphs of their writing and generates content that mirrors their style. However, its implementation is limited—it only accepts a short sample, which isn’t always enough to capture the nuances of a person’s writing voice.
A more effective approach could be:
Allowing users to provide longer writing samples.
Enabling users to submit 3-5 different samples to help the AI better understand and adapt to variations in their style.
Offering deeper customization sliders or advanced settings for elements like sentence structure, formality, and word choice.
